I am currently working on mathematical and computational approaches to problems relevant to the physics of soft materials and related biological applications. My past work includes coarse-grained modelling and continuum simulations of lipid bilayer membranes, investigations of diffusing proteins within fluctuating lipid bilayers, and contributions to the development of new stochastic methods for chemical kinetics in biological systems. I recently finished my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics at University of California Santa Barbara under the guidance of Paul J. Atzberger.
